The joint technical secretariat

The Joint Technical Secretariat is located in Kukës, Albania. The JTS Kukës team is composed of two persons: 1 Head of JTS (Albanian national) and 1 Project Officer with financial profile (Albanian national) while the Antenna office established in Prizren, Kosovo is composed of 1 person: 1 Project Officer specialised in communication and information (Kosovo national).

The JTS plays an instrumental role in assisting potential applicants in partner search, building their capacities for project development, organising information days, meeting of the JMC, partner search forums and workshops, developing and updating network of stakeholders. The JTS also prepares, conducts and reports on monitoring visits to cross-border cooperation operations.

It monitors and advises grant beneficiaries in project implementation, supports the work of evaluation committees, provides inputs to the annual and final implementation reports and also plannes and performes information campaigns and other activities aimed at raising public awareness on the CBC programme, including publications and a dedicated website.
